New Milton Town Council has the following vacancy for the right person to take charge of our ground staff on a day-to-day basis.
Grounds Maintenance and Work Supervisor – Salary £19,126 to £20,400 (Scale point 21-23)
We have a vacancy for a “hands-on” individual with relevant grounds maintenance experience to manage and maintain the town’s amenities facilities. Supervising a team of up to six grounds staff, the successful applicant will ensure all Council-owned playing fields, football / rugby pitches, cricket squares and bowling greens are prepared and maintained together with 50 sites of public open space including woodland and common land. The job involves hedge/grass cutting, maintenance of flowerbeds/shrubberies, play areas/safety surfaces minor repairs to buildings/equipment operating associated vehicles/machinery.
We are looking for someone to supervise and help develop all our amenities and grounds.
