Queens Birthday Card Competition - Joanna Hayward June 15, 2016

Queens Birthday Card Competition

We are really impressed with the volume and quality of entries sent in by New Milton school children to the Queens Birthday Card Competition.   Hundreds of masterpieces were creatively crafted and then our judges had the really difficult job of deciding the winners!

The judging panel agreed on the deserving winners who were announced at the New Milton Celebrates event where the cards were displayed at the time.    We’ve now got the cards displayed in the Town Hall for everyone to admire – they are amazing!   Please come and have a look.

Vandalism at Fawcetts Field - Joanna Hayward June 9, 2016

Vandalism at Fawcetts Field

Unfortunately we experienced a wave of vandalism at Fawcetts Field last weekend involving the theft of bedding plants from our depot as well as broken glass strewn across pitches.   This vandalism also affected Arnewood School and the Phoenix Centre.  The matter has been reported to the Police who are investigating but if you know anything that may help please let them know.

We have cleared the glass but please beware that some fragments may remain – let us know asap if you come across any glass or other damage.
