Teenage Market - Joanna Hayward April 25, 2017

Teenage Market

New Milton Town Council is pleased to announce the launch of the Teenage Street Trading taking place on Wednesday 31st May 2017 from 9 am – 3 pm.  On this day, there will be a number of stalls dedicated to teenage stall holders alongside the usual stall holders. The teenage street trading will initially only operate on Wednesday’s during the school holidays.

There is no charge to the young people. The idea is to encourage budding entrepreneurs and help them to gain skills and an understanding of the retail business industry.  We are affiliated to the Teenage Market brand as well as NABMA.

The launch of the Teenage Market falls within the Love Your Local Market fortnight.  Their theme this year centres around the next generation of traders and consumers.  The NABMA (National Association of British Market Authorities) who run Love Your Local Market, have put up a £500 prize for a Youth Video Competition.

Please contact Silma on 01425 619120 for further details or email info@newmiltontowncouncil.gov.uk
