New Milton Health and Leisure Centre, Gore Road
Indoor Swimming, Squash and Table Tennis.  The Dry Sports Hall has facilities for Five-a-Side Football, Badminton, Netball, Volleyball and various other activities.  Sauna, solarium (two sunbeds), Modern Gymnasium (includes MTV to watch while you work out!), Aerobics and Step Classes.   Sports shop.  Qualified Beautician.  In addition the centre runs School Holiday Activities for children and many other tutorial classes for adults.  Further details can be obtained from the Centre Tel: (01425) 617441. New Milton Recreation Ground, Whitefield Road
The ‘Rec’ is home to 4 all-weather tennis courts. Bookings are on a first come, first served basis and fees are collected by a member of the town council’s ground staff.

The New Milton Indoor and Outdoor Bowling Clubs are also based on the ‘Rec’, both groups having their own associated pavilions/social facilities.  The Outdoor Bowling Club has 2 full size greens.  Two rinks are available at all times for non-members (i.e. members of the public) to utilise.  The Indoor Bowling Club has 2 rinks and also welcomes members of the public.

A skateboard park, children’s playground, MUGA (multi-user games apparatus), and a basketball net can also be found on the ‘Rec’.

Ashley Sports Ground, Ashley Road

Home of New Milton and District Rugby Club ( ) who lease the first floor of the pavilion as a Social Club. The ground floor consists of six changing rooms all with private facilities. Two of the changing rooms have separate entrances to enable the changing rooms to be used by both sexes at the same time. The field consists of two full size rugby pitches, two youth pitches and six mini pitches. Also on site is a children’s play ground. Fawcetts Field Sports Ground, Christchurch Road
The facilities available on this site include three public soccer pitches to Bournemouth League standard, one floodlit soccer pitch for the sole use of Lymington & New Milton Football Club to Wessex League standard.  Associated shower and changing facilities are available for both the public and Wessex pitches.

A floodlit grass training area is also available.  Pitch 1 of the public pitches has a grass running track around the perimeter and there is a floodlit fitness trail around the perimeter of the site which is available for use by groups or individual members of the public.  Ample coach and car parking is available.  All the facilities can be hired (apart from the Wessex Pitch) through the New Milton Town Council, Tel: (01425) 619120 for further details.

Lymington & New Milton Football Club also has its social club on site, with various social activities being held during the evening throughout the week.  The Function Room can be hired by members of the public, Club Membership is also available.  Tel: New Milton Town Council for details of Club contacts.

Bashley Football Club, Bashley Road
Bashley Football Club was founded in 1947 and has grown into one of the largest clubs in the local leagues.  They currently play in the Evostik League, a considerable achievement for a team with its roots in a small village of only approximately 200 residents.  The club plays on a Saturday afternoon with any midweek fixtures on a Tuesday evening, their home ground is Bashley Recreation Ground in Bashley Road and has a capacity of 4,250.

Bashley (Rydal) Cricket Club, Bashley Road, Bashley

Bashley (Rydal) Cricket Club is a community club, located on the edge of the New Forest, providing a safe and friendly environment for players of all ages to enjoy the game of cricket.  We run five Saturday league sides and a Sunday side plus junior cricket for boys and girls in all the age groups from Under 9 through to Under 17.  We have full Clubmark accreditation and are one of Hampshire’s Focus clubs.

Barton-on-Sea Golf Course, Milford Road
The course was extended to 27 holes (three nine hole courses) during 1992/93, and Club membership stands at approximately 900.  The course is not open to the general public although members of affiliated golf clubs can use the facilities for a green fee.  The Club is open 7 days a week.  There is also a Pro shop on site and formal golf tuition is available.  Contact (01425) 615308 for further details.

New Milton Rifle Club

Riding Schools
