Vacancy – Estates & Facilities Supervisor

New Milton Town Council is seeking to recruit a highly-motivated and suitably experienced person to take charge of our Estates & Facilities Team.


Estates and Facilities Supervisor

Salary Grade LC1 Scale Point 23-25 £21,268 – £22,658


The role involves supervising 8 ground staff and covers all aspects of maintenance and up-keep of the Town Council sports facilities, public open spaces, parks and allotment gardens including grass/hedge cutting, minor building/equipment repairs, ongoing development of our award-winning In Bloom floral displays, ensuring all necessary records are kept up to date and works carried out in accordance with our health and safety policy.


While experience in Grounds Maintenance or Building Works is desirable, the main task is leading and motivating a small team of ground operatives. Whilst “hands on”, the successful applicant will work closely with the Estates & Facilities Manger in planning and organising work and further develop our Estates Facilities generally.
