The Information Desk has employees from New Forest District Council and Hampshire County Council, who are able to answer questions about services provided locally and throughout Hampshire. They have access to information on a wide range of subjects; including sports facilities, adult education, planning applications, support for the elderly, local clubs and societies, waste disposal, road maintenance, tourism, council tax and housing benefits, schools, childcare and concessionary travel to name but a few.

The office also provides facilities for local residents to pay all their New Forest District Council bills, such as council tax and housing rent and to purchase refuse sacks and parking clocks.

The office is open 9.00am to 12.30pm, 1.30pm to 4.15pm Monday to Friday (Closed for lunch 12.30 to 1.30pm).
