New Forest District Council will recycle your real Christmas from Sunday 31 December 2023 – Sunday 14 January 2024.

 

The trees will be recycled by chipping to create mulch to be used locally to help keep moisture around plant roots, and prevent weeds from growing.

 

The drop-off point in New Milton is at Crossmead Avenue Car Park, open from Sunday 31 December 2023 to Sunday 14 January 2024. 

 

Please only drop off real Christmas trees and remove any decorations first, such as lights or wreaths. Place trees as far back as possible in the fenced bay.

 

Other wood and rubbish should not be left at the sites.
