Footpath construction and improvements at Fawcetts Field
Works will be starting on Monday 19th January at Fawcetts Field to create new footpaths and widening of part of the trim trail. The project is likely to last until the end of March.
The work will be managed by New Forest District Council as part of their infrastructure improvements/Mitigation Strategy but will be closely monitored by New Milton Town Council.
The works will be from the Old Barn site towards the Community Garden on the Moore Close field.
There will be machinery movements between the work areas, and the contractors compound will be located in Moore Close. Normal working week Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.
The contractors have been told that the site MUST be left safe and accessible for public use at weekends.
Access to the Club House, Car Park, and Men’s Shed building will be unaffected.
