Long Meadow Park will be closed from Monday 12 January 2026 for a period of approx. 8/9 weeks to enable decommissioning of the current facility and installation of the new play park equipment.
Our team will carry out the decommissioning work, and the contractors, Kompan, will start the installation week commencing 26 January 2026 (weather dependent). Expected hours that contractors will be on site 8am-5pm Monday to Friday.
A reminder to take care to residents, all dog-walkers, and families as there will be vehicles and machinery in operation during this time.
The Car Park will remain open to the public during the work period. Kompan Contractors will access the park via a separate and temporary path.
