New Milton Community Champions
The Town Council likes to thank and pay special tribute to the unsung heroes in our community – those special residents with a heart of gold, that go the extra mile to help their neighbours, sharing kindness and support.
In 2026, we have decided to expand and rebrand our community awards – now known as New Milton Community Champions (previously Citizen of the Year) and invite nominations in the following three categories:
Community Champion – for an individual or couple who have shown service to the community or an individual in need or demonstrated courage for themselves and/or others.
Community Group – for a community group based in New Milton which has shown service to the community or helped/cared for a person/group of people in need.
Volunteer of the Year – for an individual who is volunteering with an organisation or group in New Milton.
