Notice of Works
As part of the Barton Common Management Plan, works are required to clear sections of scrub, gorse, and invasive non-native vegetation.
We have instructed contractors to carry out the works from w/c 12 October 2026, which will also involve machinery movements.
Notices have been displayed at Barton Common advising the public to remain aware when visiting, particularly to ensure dogs are kept on leads around the work areas.
The work is likely to last two weeks subject to weather conditions.
