This summer New Milton Town Council welcomed music-lovers to enjoy another outstanding programme of live music on the Recreation Ground.
Offered as free to attend events, the Town Council arrange the annual summer season of live music, always well-attended by enthusiastic residents and visitors.
The sounds of a glorious summer were provided by local bands, Groovemeister, The Late Starters, Cash Converted and Guns of Navarone. A varied array of musical performances that were uplifting, calling out to the community to come together to dance and socialise, making the most of the summer ambience.
Town Mayor of New Milton, Councillor David Rice-Mundy, applauded the performers, the appreciative audiences, generous sponsors, and the hard-working council team for arranging another successful season of live music.
New Milton Town Council have a small budget to host these free gigs and were delighted to receive donations from local organisations – DPR Home Improvements, New Milton Residents Association, Innovus UK, Bethel House Care Home, Keffen Plant Hire, and Hays Travel. This support is greatly appreciated as it goes towards the performance fees, helping to provide the quality live music and sound system.
